City plans trick-or-treating for Monday night

Trick-or-treating in Philadelphia is Monday night Oct. 31.

City officials decided to hold trick-or-treating on Halloween this year, compared to when it was on Oct. 30 last year because Halloween fell on a Sunday.

Tim Moore, executive director of the Philadelphia-Neshoba County Chamber of Commerce, said police will patrol as children are out in neighborhoods and  keep an eye out for them in general.

“I would tell everyone to just be careful,” Moore said.
