Christine Rushing

Funeral service for Ms. Christine Rushing will be 11 AM Wednesday, June 22, 2022, at John E. Stephens Chapel, with Rev. Curt Pace officiating. Interment will be in New Harmony Cemetery. Visitation will be 9-11 AM Wednesday, June 22, 2022, at John E. Stephens Chapel.

Ms. Rushing, 90, passed away Sunday, June 19, 2022 at Choctaw Residential Center in Philadelphia, MS.  She lived most of her life in Neshoba Co. where she was a poultry Farmer, and was also a member of Trinity Baptist Church. Her hobbies were fishing and traveling.

She is preceded in death by her husband Curtis Rushing; parents, Joseph F. Sistrunk and Inez Tucker Sistrunk; (3) sisters; (3) brothers.

Survivors include sister, Nell Pigg of Carthage; brothers-in-law, Dewayne Rushing of Raymond, D.D. Rushing of Philadelphia and several nieces and nephews.
