Choctaw Fire/Rescue’s C-shift conducted a training scenario on search and rescue operations last week.
In this scenario on Friday, firefighters were informed of what the objectives would be, established command of the scene, choose appropriate PPE/tools, and implemented an oriented search method for victims within the structure.
Search and rescue was performed in areas of obstruction and with zero visibility.
