The Choctaw Central Warriors picked up their second win is a row as they defeated Nanih Waiya 26-6 Friday night in prep football actions.

The Warriors, now 2-1 on the season, will take on the Lake Hornets Friday night. The Hornets lost their first two games but came back to beat Pelahatchie 36-9 last week.

The Warriors jumped out to a 14-0 lead. Brydon Wesley scored on a 50-yard run and Keyshawn Ben scored on a 48-yard run. The Warriors converted a two point conversion after the second touchdown and led 14-0 and that’s how it stood at the half.

Braylon McMillian returned the second half kickoff for a touchdown. The extra point try was no good and the Warriors led 20-0.

Later in the second half, Jeriah Jimmie scored on a two-yard run. The extra point try failed and Choctaw Central led 26-0.

Nanih Waiya scored its points late in the fourth quarter.
