Quarterback Eli Joe scored three touchdowns on the night.

His second touchdown in the third quarter put the Warriors up 16-7. But the Trojans came back with two unanswered touchdowns and went up 20-16.

With around four minutes left, Joe scored on a four-yard run. The extra point was good and the Warriors left 23-20,

The Trojans had the ball two more times and the held on for the victory.

“Our defense held them and we got the ball back,” Coach Pepper Posey said. “They got the ball back and the defense held them again. This team deserved to win. They have been through some adversity and then some with the COVID-19 in the summer and us now getting to practice.”
