Choctaw Central clinched a playoff spot, capping off one of their most successful regular seasons in school history, with a 28-7 victory over Northeast Lauderdale. Star Keyshawn Ben led the Warriors statistically once again in this one, accounting for 229 total yards and three total touchdowns. Choctaw Central finished third in the Region 4-4A standings and will travel to take on Itawamba in the first round of the Class 4A playoffs, with kickoff set for 7 PM on Friday.

Neshoba Central will look to lock up the two-seed in Region 2-6A this Thursday night, after securing a 23-7 victory over Ridgeland last week.  Running back Mekhi Gaddis had another monster performance in the win, rushing for 289 yards and three touchdowns on the night. The Rockets will take on Callaway this week in their regular season finale, who is one game behind in the region standings. A win for Neshoba Central would lock up a home playoff game and second place in the region, while a loss would likely put the Rockets in a three-way tie for second place. Neshoba Central will host Callaway, with kickoff set for 7 PM on Thursday night.

Philadelphia secured a region title and a one-seed in the Class 2A playoffs, with a 16-6 win over Union on Friday night. Running back Christopher Rush has had a dominant season for the Tornadoes, carrying the workload for Philadelphia in the running game this season and they will likely continue to lean on Rush as they begin their playoff journey. Philadelphia will host Hatley this Friday night and will be guaranteed to host their second round game if they are able to come out with a victory. Kickoff is set for 7 PM Friday night in Philadelphia.
