Charlie O. Moody

Funeral services for Charlie O. Moody were held on Saturday, May 31, 2025 from McClain-Hays Chapel with Bro. Mike Hart officiating. Interment followed in Cedar Hill Cemetery. McClain-Hays Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.

Charlie Moody was born in Wilson, AR and attended Arlington and Neshoba Central Schools.  Charlie, his dad and brothers built the construction company " Moody & Son Construction". He later started working in the railroad industry with ICG and KCS Railroad.  Mr. Moody attended Mallaeu UMC and was a member at Cedar Hill Baptist church.

Survivors include wife, Pam Moody; daughters, Cindy Pitts, Susan Snow (Darrel) and Melissa Gray (Wes); eight grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; sister, Rose Guidry; brothers, Max Moody (Judy), Parker Moody (Linda); and a host of nieces and nephews.

Mr. Moody was preceded in death by the mother of his children, Mary Moody; parents, Charlie T. and Evie (Eva) Moody; sister, Ouida Ferguson.
