Charles Gilbert Barham

Gilbert Barham, 67, a game warden for MS Dept. of Wildlife  Fisheries and Parks, died Tuesday, March 29, 2022 at his home.

Visitation was 5:00 pm to 8:00 pm Thursday, March 31, 2022 at Wilcox Funeral Home. Services were 1:00 pm Friday, April 1, 2022 at Madden Baptist Church with Bro. Perry McCall and Bro. Corbin Jenkins officiating. Interment was in The Arbor Cemetery. Wilcox Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.

Mr. Barham was a native of Texas. He was a member of Madden Baptist Church and held a Bachelors degree in Science, English, and Secondary Education.

Survivors include: his wife, Shelia Barham of Madden; daughters, Casey Russell of Madden and Codee Basham (Danny)of Madden; 2 sisters, Linda Bennett (Jerry) of Dowdsville and Janice Ogletree (Allen) of Philadelphia; 1 grandchild, Maddox Bryan.

Pallbearers were: Dwain McBeth, Josh Ray, Burl Johnson, Donnie Shepard, Brian Terrell, Dale Scott, Chad Arthur, Danny Collier, Danny Joe Freeny, and       Chip Jones.

Honorary pallbearers were: MS Dept. of Wildlife Fisheries and Parks employees, MS Hwy Patrol, all Law Enforcement of surrounding counties, Madden Baptist Church Gilbert Barham Sunday School Class members, Jimmy Manuel, Tom Parker Ganann, Karl Brantley, Eddie Gilbert, Flint Minchew, Kenneth Latham, Glen Coghlan, John Sprayberry, Shelby Brantley, Ken McMillan, Kevin Kemp, Dale Gomillion, Carmen Wright,  JoAnn Mahaffey, Phil Shepard and Doyle Wolverton.
