Funeral services for Mr. Cecil Apperson were held 2 PM Saturday, July 17, 2021, at John E. Stephens Chapel with Rev. Ben Jones, Rev. Tim Vowell, Rev. John E. Stephens officiating. Interment in Beatline Cemetery. John E. Stephens Chapel in charge.

Mr. Apperson, 68, passed away Wednesday, July 14, 2021 at MS Baptist Medical Center in Jackson. He lived in Beatline Community all of his life. He was Operations Manager of Apperson Construction and enjoyed working and spending time at the Neshoba County Fair. He was Baptist.

Preceded in death: Parents, Francis Dee Apperson and Wilma Lavada Smith Apperson; Sisters, Hazel Pickering, Audrey Lagunas, Lucille Killen, Marlene Ainsworth, Anne Gordon, Ally Patrick; Brothers, Jack Keith Smith, Dewayne, Elburn, Wilburn and Don Apperson.

Survivors: Son, Tommy Apperson (Gidget); Daughter, Crystal Myers (Grant); Special friend, Lisa Greenwood;

(6) Grandchildren; Brother, Alvis Apperson (Vivian); Sister, Eunice Posey (Willard); Sisters-in-law, Alana Jo Apperson and Brenda Apperson; Several nieces and nephews.
