Cassie Henson seeks election as Philadelphia Mayor

The following is a paid political announcement.

Greetings, I'm Cassie Henson Hickman a follower of Christ, a mother, and a lifelong native of Philadelphia, MS. I am educated and I am the future. I am vying for the position of Mayor of Philadelphia, MS and I am humbly asking for your support. I’m fully equipped to and understand and communicate with our entire community.

I formerly served as Alderwoman of Ward 4, in which I took much pride! During my time in this position, I helped bring businesses to the area, updated policies, headed up and supported many projects to help improve our city.

It’s my desire to pave the way for our future generations to come by providing jobs, housing opportunities and putting the right people in the most effective places. I see the big picture and I want to help others to see it too! Philadelphia is rich in resources that have not been tapped into. With a vision, proper planning, and execution, Philadelphia can be a place of inspiration, growth, entertainment, and successful businesses. In combination of my love for people, education, experience, and willingness to serve you, we can make the city of brotherly love be the light upon the hill.

I ask that each of you reflect on where we’ve been, where we are, and where you want to be in your future. It’s time to pass the baton! But not to just anyone, to the right one…ME!. Trust God and yield to your convictions when you go to the polls.
