Carroll Gartin “Chill” Lewis

Funeral service for Mr. Carroll Gartin “Chill” Lewis will be held at 10 AM Tuesday, March 8, 2022 at Standing Pine Facility Building with interment in Standing Pine Community Cemetery. Visitation will begin at 1 PM Monday, March 7, 2022 at Standing Pine Facility Building. John E. Stephens Chapel Funeral Services is in charge.

Mr. Lewis, 62, passed away on Friday, March 4, 2022 at Choctaw Residential Center in Choctaw, MS. He enjoyed playing dominos and cards, working crossword puzzles, word search and enjoyed watching old movies.

Mr. Lewis is preceded in death by parents, Houston Lewis and Edna Sam; sisters, Lucille Lewis Chickaway, Lennie Mae Comby; brothers, Gilbert Jack Lewis, Calvin Manuel Lewis, Winnard Lewis, Sr., George Lewis, Coleman Roy Lee Lewis, Clifton Lewis.

Survivors include sister, Waudine Sockey, Merlene John, Ella Mae Isaac; brother, Truman Lewis, Sr.

Pallbearers are Billy Jack Lewis, Benjamin Lewis, Cameron Sockey, Ryan Chickaway, James Denson, Winnard Lewis, Jr., Truman Lewis III, Marty Williams.
