Funeral services for Elizabeth Carolyn Taylor-Franklin were held at 3 pm, Wednesday, July 2, 2025 from McClain-Hays Chapel with Bro. Allan Eaves officiating. Burial followed in Butler Cemetery in Noxubee County. McClain-Hays Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.

Carolyn,71, of Union, MS, passed away Sunday, June 29, 2025.

She was born in Princeton, Indiana, she spent her early years in Clermont, Florida before moving to Noxubee County, MS. After remarrying, she continued her journey in Neshoba County. Carolyn cherished her family and they were the center of her world.

Survivors include husband, Eugene Franklin; daughters, Mary Ann Taylor and Jackie (Exo) Moore; sons, Roy (Gina) Taylor Jr., Scott Taylor, and Matt (Bethany) Taylor; nine grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren; brother, Terry Harvey; a host of nieces and nephews.

Carolyn was preceded in death by her first husband, Roy Taylor; daughter, Jamie Taylor; parents, Jesse and Mildred Coffey; sister, Sona Presley.
