Mrs. McKee, 90, of Philadelphia, died Thursday, December 31, 2020.

Bonnie Chesney McKee was born on January 2, 1930, in Neshoba County in the Shady Grove Community.

She met her husband George while in grammar school and they were married for 68 years.  Bonnie loved her family more than life itself and enjoyed being with them as much as possible.  She was a servant to others, always putting them before herself.  Her best friend and love of her life was George as she worked alongside him in everything that he did.  Bonnie had a kind word for everyone and her quiet presence was always welcomed.  She accepted Jesus Christ as her savior early in life and constantly praised him as her rock, setting a beautiful example for her family.  Mrs. McKee was a member of East Philadelphia Baptist Church for many years.

Survivors include her daughters, Glenda (Mike) Skinner and Sharon (David) Richardson; five grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild; several nieces, nephews and their families.

Mrs. McKee was preceded in death by her husband, George McKee in 2018.

Family requests memorials be made to Gideons International, or Blair Batson Children’s Hospital, or the charity of your choice.
