Betty J. Mowdy Partridge

Funeral services for Betty J. Mowdy Partridge were held on Saturday, February 1, 2025, at 2 p.m. from McClain Hays Chapel with Bro. Kelly Tingle officiating. Interment followed in Golden Grove Cemetery. McClain-Hays Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.

Betty Partridge, 90, of Philadelphia, MS passed on January 26, 2025 in Byhalia, MS.

Betty was born on July 21, 1934 in Bethsaida Community of Neshoba County and graduated from House High School in 1950. She married Paul Partridge on June 8, 1950. Ms. Partridge was a member of Enon Baptist Church.

Survivors include her daughters, Patty Rushing and Cindy Forsythe (Marty); son, Randy Partridge; seven grandchildren; nine great grandchildren; six great-great grandchildren; sister, Geraldine Watson; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

Ms. Partridge was preceded in death by husband, Paul Partridge; parents, Joe and Mary Mowdy; son in law, Billy Rushing; grandchild, Amanda Rushing; sister, Laree Mannino.
