Bethany Charles Thompson

Funeral service for Mr. Bethany Charles Thompson will be held at 10 AM Wednesday, January 4, 2023 at Bogue Chitto Baptist Church with Bro. Doby Henry and Bro. Randy Jim officiating. Interment will be in the Bogue Chitto Community Cemetery. Visitation will begin at 2 PM Tuesday, January 3, 2023 at Bogue Chitto Baptist Church. John E. Stephens Chapel is in charge of arrangements.

Mr. Thompson, 73, passed away Monday, December 19, 2022, at Christus St. Michael Health System in Texarkana, TX. He was a member of Bogue Chitto Baptist Church. His hobbies include fishing, watching old western movies and going for rides.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Fommie Thompson and Sally Hickman Thompson; sisters, Janice Thompson Bell and Nancy Thompson Sockey Mingo.

Survivors include his daughter, Lisa Parker; sons, Charles Wayne Thompson and Clarence Troy Thompson; 8 grandchildren, 26 great-grandchildren and a host of nieces and nephews.

Pallbearers are Kendall Wallace, Dalton Henry, John Levi Bell, Gabriel Chickaway, Ray Salvador, Kevin Willis, Bobby Henry.
