Barron Pilgrim

Funeral service for Rev. Barron Pilgrim was held at 3 PM Sunday, May 15, 2022, at John E. Stephens chapel with Rev. Chester Carlisle and Rev. Tom McCurley officiating. Interment was in Cedar Lawn Cemetery. Visitation was1-3 PM Sunday, May 15, 2022, at John E. Stephens Chapel.

Rev. Pilgrim, 81, passed away Thursday, May 12, 2022, at Neshoba General Hospital. He pastored numerous churches in Arkansas and Mississippi and moved back to Philadelphia, MS upon retirement in 2007.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Claudie Leon Pilgrim and Opal Rea Pilgrim.

Survivors include his wife, Jean Pilgrim of Philadelphia; son, Rev. Mark Pilgrim (Jill) of Booneville; sister, Brenda Waggoner (Rev. Bobby) of Brandon; (1) granddaughter, Molly Goldade; numerous nieces and nephews.

Pallbearers: Jeffery Mills, Fred Dewitt, Jerry Beckham, Danny Guthans, Thomas Miller, Tim Miller, Lonnie Holley.
