Audine Garrard

A graveside service for Audine Garrard was held Sunday, January 10, 2021, at 2:00 p.m. from Pearl Hill Cemetery with Bro. Dewayne Jones officiating.  McClain-Hays Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements. 

Mrs. Garrard, 87, of Carthage, died Tuesday, January 5, 2021. 

Born and raised in Winston County, she moved to Leake County in 1968.  She worked at the pants factory in Carthage for 30-plus years and also worked at a clothing store for several years after retiring from the pants factory.  Mrs. Garrard was a longtime member of Pearl Hill Baptist Church. 

Survivors include husband, Alvin Garrard; son, Kenny Garrard; three grandchildren; five great-grandchildren. 

Mrs. Garrard was preceded in death by daughter, Darlene McCain; six sisters; and two brothers.
