A Philadelphia man has been charged with attempted murder after allegedly stabbing another man in the driveway of a Robinhood Circle residence on Wednesday evening, the authorities said.

The man, Corderro Seales, 34, of 105 St Francis Drive, has been charged with attempted murder in this case and booked into Winston County Jail where bond has not been set at this time, said Police Chief Eric Lyons.

According to Lyons, on Jan. 11, at approximately 6 p.m., Philadelphia PD officers responded to Robinhood Circle where a report of a stabbing was being dispatched.

Upon arrival, officers noticed a 44-year-old black male subject in the driveway of a residence on Robinhood Circle suffering from several stab wounds to the back.

EMTs also arrived and transported the victim to the ER.

“Last known status on the victim is that he is in critical but stable condition,” Lyons said.

Investigators soon identified Seales as a suspect. Lyons said Seales and the victim were engaged in a verbal altercation prior to the stabbing.

“Officers searched throughout the night for Seales and did not locate him,” Lyons said.

The following day, information obtained by the investigation suggested that Seales was possibly at a residence at Pendleton Square Apartments.

Officers and Deputies arrived at the apartment building around 1 p.m., where Seales was taken into custody without incident.
