Aldermen to hold marijuana-related zoning hearing

City officials plan to hold a hearing for a marijuana-related business next week, according to Mayor James Young. 

Young said the city does not have any details regarding the business yet, but he confirmed the business property is being rezoned. 

“We will have the hearing next Tuesday during our board meeting, which starts at 5 p.m. at City Hall,” Young said. “We thought we would have to postpone the hearing, but we ended up not having to.” 

Young said the board will have more details about the business next week.
