Alan Ray Smith

Memorial services will be held at 11:00 am on Saturday, July 5, 2025 from Trinity Baptist Church in Philadelphia with Bro. Justin Craft officiating. McClain-Hays Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

Alan Ray Smith, a beloved husband, father, grandfather, and friend, passed away Monday, June 30, 2025. He born in Ferndale, MI and moved to Loudon, TN, in 1974, where he dedicated his career to Kimberly-Clark Paper Products as a Mill Buyer until his retirement. In July 2024, he made the move to Philadelphia, MS. Mr. Smith was a member of Trinity Baptist Church.

Survivors include his wife of 53 years, Cathy; son, Jeremy Michael (Katrina) Smith; daughters, Amy Elisabeth Smith and Amanda Jane (Richard) Howard; six grandchildren; sisters, Donna (Steve) Benkovsky and Linda Pendergrass; brother, James R. (Phyllis) Smith; a host of nieces and nephews.

Alan was preceded in death by parents, James and Janell Smith.
