Ursula 'Toni' Withers
Services for Ursula "Toni" Withers were held Thursday, April 24, 2014, at 11 a.m. from McClain-Hays Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Dean Speed and the Rev. Tommy Conn officiating.
Burial followed in Center Hill Cemetery in the Tucker community of Neshoba County. McClain-Hays Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
Mrs. Withers, 75, of Philadelphia, died Monday, April 21, 2014, at Anderson Regional Medical Center in Meridian.
She was a native of Richmond, Ind. and had lived in Neshoba County for the past 40 years. She worked in the nursing profession for hospitals and nursing homes.
Mrs. Withers was a member of Philadelphia Church of God.
Survivors include her husband, Bernice Withers of Philadelphia; daughter, Angela Blackwell (John S.) of Rocky Face, Ga.; son, Michael Withers (Emily) of College Station, Texas; grandchildren, Elizabeth Withers of Philadelphia, Cory Blackwell, Joel Blackwell and Jeremy Blackwell, all of Rocky Face, Ga.; brother, Edward J. Bowman of Indianapolis, Ind.; half-sisters, Theresa Bowman of New York and Peggy Bowman of Woodstock, Ill.; half-brother, David Bowman of Springfield, Ill.; and a host of nieces and nephews.
Mrs. Withers was preceded in death by half-brothers, Tom Bowman and Jeff Bowman.
Pallbearers were Norman Coats, Delbert Matthews, Richard Matthews, Arthur Eakes, Dwayne Withers, and Patrick Spence.
