Bobbie Porter Mills

Services for Bobbie Porter Mills were held Friday, July 5, 2013, at 10 a.m. from McClain-Hays Chapel.

The Reverends Jimmy Porter, James Rushing and Lawrence Runnels officiated. Burial followed in Cedarlawn Cemetery.

Mrs. Mills, 81, died Monday, July 1, 2013, at Neshoba County Nursing Home.

She was a lifelong resident of Neshoba County. She was retired from garment manufacturing as a seamstress. Mrs. Mills was a member of North Calvary Baptist Church where she taught Sunday school for over 50 years and was a choir member.

Survivors include her daughters, Christi Baugh of Mabelvale, Ark. and Sherry Irons of Philadelphia; four grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; and brother, W.T. Porter of Philadelphia.

Mrs. Mills was preceded in death by a granddaughter; sisters, Agnes Rushing and Mary Breedlove; and brothers, James Porter and Earl Porter.

Pallbearers were Brent Irons, Jerry Bright, Ed Harrison, Hugh Wayne Rushing, Jimmy Breedlove and David Eubanks.
