The Mt. Ary Baptist Church is in revival this week. The Rev. Lavoid Kelly is the evangelist for the week. Praise service begins at 7 p.m. nightly. The public is invited.
Pastor Bennie Hopkins brought a very challenging message on Sunday at the Mt. Ary Baptist Church. His scripture was Luke 7:16-19.
The youth and younger children's choir accompanied him with a beautiful song service.
Bro. C. White returned with a wonderful message Sunday at the Stallo United Methodist Church. His scripture was Ephesians 4:7.
Evangelist Martha Moore will be the guest speaker for a three-night revival service March 12-14 at the Piney Grove Methodist Church in Louisville. The public is invited to come and hear what God has given her to share with his people. Praise service begins at 7 p.m. nightly.
Khalil Triplett, a junior at Philadelphia High School, competed in a state competition held recently in Jackson for his Vo-Tech course, Teacher Academy.
His area of competition was lesson planning.
He recently received his results stating that he placed first. This achievement qualifies Khalil to compete in the national competition which will be held April 10-12 in Minnesota.
We commend him on this achievement. He is the son of Amanda Triplett and the grandson of Mary Triplett.
