The Motosport.com Arenacross Tour returns to Philadelphia for round four of the 2014 season. On Dec. 7 the Neshoba County Coliseum will host an exciting day of amateur racing, followed by a full night of professional racing in the night show event.
With new riders visiting the series the pro classes have seen an increase in talent, bringing exciting racing to the fans. Cole Thompson has defended his title as Clash for Cash Champion at the first three rounds this season.
The Arenacross Tour will be holding an official press day on Friday, Dec. 6. Select pro class riders will visit local schools as part of the community outreach campaign on the morning of the 6th. From 2-4 p.m. the riders will be on location at the Neshoba County Coliseum to do interviews with local media outlets. This press day is open to the public so that other interested parties may check out the track prior to the event on Saturday.
On Saturday, Dec. 7, amateur racing will take place throughout the day. All riders must register at the Neshoba County Coliseum on the day of the event, or online prior to arriving. All amateur riders must attend a mandatory riders meeting at 9:10 a.m., followed by practices sessions and a full day of racing. Select classes will also race in the night show. At 6 p.m. doors will open to spectators and at 7 p.m. opening ceremonies will begin followed by a full night of exciting, bar-to-bar professional and amateur racing in a family friendly atmosphere. Tickets for the event can be purchased in advance Online at www.arenacrosstour.com, for $12 for adults and $10 for children under 11 years old. Tickets can be purchased the day of the event for $15 for adults and $12 for children under 11 years old at the Neshoba County Coliseum box office. Children three and under receive free admission. Doors will open to the public at 6 p.m. and the main event will begin at 7 p.m.
