Churches throughout the community had their Thanksgiving services on Sunday. Relatives and longtime friends joined them in their Thanksgiving service.
Pastor Bennie Hopkins message at the Mount Ary Baptist Church focused on Giving Thanks. His scripture was Psalm 105:1-5. The male chorus of Mount Ary Church accompanied him with a song service of Thanksgiving. A Thanksgiving fellowship meal was served.
Danny Hutcherson brought the Thanksgiving message at the Stallo United Methodist Church. His scriptures were Psalm 100. According to members, Bro. Jerry Drury brought a very spirit-filled song service. The entire service was another spiritual blessing.
Pastor Lavoid Kelly at the Mount Talley Baptist Church spoke from Psalm 100 also. Many members and guest were there for the Thanksgiving Service. The Church family had their Thanksgiving meal recently following their Wednesday night service.
Families throughout the community are preparing for the Thanksgiving Day Dinner. We wish all a blessed day together.
There are some who will have Thanksgiving without loved ones for the first time. This may be a hard time for them so remember them in your prayers.
There are some who will be going out of town for the holiday. Remember them in your prayers.
Mrs. Charlsie Moore had eye surgery this week. Also, her husband Willie C. Moore has been in the hospital recently with the pneumonia. So, remember both of them in your prayers.

Our prayers also go out to Mrs. Irish Hoskins and her family in the death of her sister, Manerva Reed who passed away recently in Wagerville, Ala.
Happy birthday wishes go out to Whitney Hoskins whose birthday is today Wednesday Nov. 27. Happy Birthday wishes go out to Jeffery Carothers on Nov. 28, Catherine Henson on November 29, also Yachier McBeath and Maria Hoskins on November 30.
