Well this past week was Valentine's Day. Hope everyone had a great day.
Wednesday we had a good time at our family reunion. We always meet at a local restaurant so there are no dishes to clean afterwards.
The Young at Heart had a great time Monday singing and visiting the Choctaw Residential Center and Atwood Assisted Living here in Philadelphia. We carried them some Mardi Gras beads to wear.
We heard this week Doug Frasier was in hospital. We wish for him a full recovery. Also Marshall Coats is in Anderson's Hospital. Several special unspoken prayer requests and pray for Retha Thrash and remember all the sick out in the Fork community.
Pray for the Glen Waddell family and also the Sonny Palmer family of Meridian. Continue to pray for Maggie Herrington. She had knee surgery.
Pray for all patients taking chemo treatments in our surrounding area. Pray for Barbara Sullivan. We saw Buddy and Dorothy Fain the other day. They were doing pretty good they said. Old friends are a special breed.
A special hello to Mrs. Betty Tolbert up in Wisconsin. We understand she keeps up with people in the Fork community.
A big thank you goes out to Jimmy and Connie Ryals of Hattiesburg. They just returned from the northeast where they have so much snow. They work for the power company to restore electricity for a lot of people.
Pray for the John Coats family this week. I talked to Barbara Sullivan she has been sick this week.
Pray for Pam Dunn. She had some tests recently. We hope she gets a good report.
Have a good week and God bless you as you go on your way this week.
Thought for the week: Rev. 2:8-11: Do not fear any of those things which you are about to suffer, be faithful until death and I will give you a crown of life.
