Proverbs 6:23: Repoofs of instruction are the way of life.
I hope and pray that you are having a great week. There are many to pray for theses days including all the sick and the little child that is being held hostage in Alabama as his family needs our prayers. My brother-in-law Marshell Coats is in Anderson Hospital. Pray for all the elderly in our nursing homes. Pray for our communities and our churches and all the pastors.
We visited with Diane and Lamar for a little while on Saturday.
The Young at Heart will be going to Choctaw and Atwood on Feb. 13.
The old groundhog did not see his shadow so maybe we will have an early spring. It's very OK with me. I love to see the flowers blooming and the trees budding out and everything turn to green.
A special hello to Sister Pett and Mrs. Gertrude this week.
Keep lifting up in prayer all the preachers who preach on the radio station each week. They reach a lot of people who are shut ins.
My daughter in Memphis spent the weekend with a friend of her's in Arkansas that is real bad sick. She is 86 years old. We want to pray for her.
It's almost Valentine's Day. We all need to remember the sweethearts in our lives on that day with flowers, candy or just by letting them know they are so very special to us.
Even when we don't sense God's presence His loving are is all around us.
Some of my brothers and sisters are getting together on Feb. 13 to share a meal and visit with each other for a while. We try to do this two or three times a year. We are looking forward to our reunion this year.
My niece, Raylee Palmer, is getting married on June 6 this year.
Congratulations to her.
My half brother Tommy Cumberland will have a birthday the 20th of February. He and his family live in Jackson.
Also David, my grandson, will have a birthday Feb. 22. They live in Biloxi. Happy birthday to these and all the ones having birthdays in February who live out in the Fork community.
