HIGHWAY 19

A crew with Greenbriar Digging Service of Brookhaven works to install a new water line as part of the Mississippi 19 four-laning project from House to Philadelphia. Crewman John Moore said two large holes had to be dug to install the new water line underneath the old lanes and across where the new lanes will be constructed. He said it would take at least two months for the waterline project to be completed. After the line is in place, the water will be tested then connected to nearby homes, he said.
