STALLO CIVIC CENTER

Do you want to dance? Do you want to party? Stallo Civic Center presents the Night Shift Band with Derrell Fulton and the gang. Great country music! Something for everyone. 8 p.m. every Friday night. $8 includes coffee, soft drinks, bottle water and great company in a smoke free atmosphere. Bingo Night

Calling all senior citizens ages 60 and up. Come join us every Thursday at 6 p.m. for a fun night of Bingo and a chance to win great prizes. This event will be held at the Senior Citizens Building located at Northside Park. There will be a $2 entry fee and refreshments will be served. So come out and have some bingo fun.



Center Hill Cemetery

Funds are needed for grass cutting at Center Hill Baptist Cemetery. If you have family laid to rest here, please consider donations to support the grass cutting.



Donations Requested

The Philadelphia Police Department and the Community Policing Neighborhood Associa-tion are asking for your assistance in donations for school supplies for the children of Philadelphia Elementary School. Any donation would be greatly appreciated.

MEETING

MID-WEEK PRAYER

MEETING

Anyone/everyone who wants or desires an opportunity to praise and pray to the Lord (shift-workers, etc., and person available during that time) are invited to a mid-week/mid-day prayer meeting every Wednesday from 1:30-2:30 at Yates Drug Store (banquet room) on the square downtown Philadelphia. (Extra parking around the back of the drug store).



GOSPEL SINGING

Join us at Pentecostal Outreach Ministry for a singing on the first Saturday night of every month at 6 p.m. The church is located at 481 Beacon Place in downtown Philadelphia. Everyone welcome to worship. Pastor is Samuel Fulton. For more information call 601-575-2100.



Mt. Olive Baptist Church

Anyone with family members buried at the cemetery is ask to help with the upkeep of the cemetery. Contributions can be mailed to: Mt. Olive Baptist Church, 11881 Road 347, Philadelphia, MS 39350



Intro to Microsoft Computer Class and Sewing Design Class

An eight-week class in Sewing Design will be offered through Dec. 17 from 6 to 9 p.m. on Monday nights.

The 2.5 CEU class fee is $75.

You may register Monday through Thursday from 7:30 a.m. until 4 p.m. or Friday from 7:30 a.m. until 3 p.m. until class begins or fills.



Friday Night Entertainment

Come one, come all and listen to the delightful music by Derrell Fulton and The Night Shift Band. Dance the night away to old favorites, contemporaries, and music written by some of our own band members. Enjoy great company in a smoke free atmosphere. $8 includes: cover charge, coffee, soft drinks, and bottled water.

Hudson Chapel Church Of God

Pastor Bret Cooper will be hosting revival with Bro. Brian McDonald from Texarkana Arkansas. Services will be held at Hudson Chapel Monday through Wednesday Nov. 12-14 at 7 p.m. nightly.

Thursday and Friday, Nov. 15 and 16, services will be held at Rocky Hill Church Of God 7 p.m. nightly.

We are looking forward to seeing the power of God move during these revival services. We want to invite everyone to come experience the love of Christ and to be blessed by the presence of the Holy Spirit.

Thanksgiving Potluck Luncheon

Thomas Hamill of Macon, civilian truck driver signed up to go to Iraq during the Gulf War for a little excitement in his life and to make lots of money. While in Iraq he was captured, but by the love and grace of God, he was able to escape. Mr. Hamill will be the guest speaker for our annual Thanksgiving potluck luncheon at East Philadelphia Baptist Church on Tuesday, Nov. 20 at 11:30 a.m. You are invited to attend and bring your favorite side order or desert and a friend. Meat, tea and coffee will be provided. Come early and meet Mr. Hamill and enjoy fellowship with others.



Larry Stribling

Minister Larry Stribling will be preaching at 11 a.m. morning worship service on Nov. 18 at Shield of Faith Ministries. The pastor is Geneva Blunt.



Pastor's 4th Year Anniversary

Pastor Geneva Blunt and Shield of Fourth Ministries will celebrate the Pastor's 4th year Anniversary on Nov. 18 at 3 p.m. Co-pastor Judy Howard of A Higher Dimension of Mt. Olive will be the guest speaker.



Youth Basketball

Neshoba County/ Philadelphia Youth Basketball Organization is now taking registration applications for children ages 6-17 for the 2012-2013 season until Nov. 28

You can register at City Hall Monday through Friday from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. or at the Senior Citizens building located at Northside Park from 8 a.m. to 12 noon. Registration fee is $25.

On Nov. 17 and 24 from 9 a.m. until 12 noon you can register at the Booker T. Washington Gym, also we will conduct a meeting for all persons interested in volunteering or coaching the 2012-13 Basketball League. Youth Fire Awareness

Everyone is invited to the East Neshoba Volunteer Fire Department's annual "Youth Fire Awareness" program on Nov. 17 from 12 noon to 3 p.m. We will be located at our Station #1 on the right side of Mississippi 16 East about 10 miles from Philadelphia.

We will provide fire awareness information and will have fire trucks, tankers and fire personnel available for the youth to look at and talk with. Additionally, the Philadelphia Fire Department's Rescue Truck and a Neshoba County Sheriff's Department patrol car will be available so attendees can see other support available in Neshoba County.

Fall Revival

Crossroads Baptist Church will hold their Fall Revival Sunday, Nov. 25 thru Wednesday, Nov. 28. Bro. Len Chesney will be guest evangelist. Gospel Singing

Pearl Jr. High school auditorium will hold its 59th Annual Pre-Thanksgiving Eve Gospel Singing on Nov. 17 at 6 p.m.

Carthage Christmas Celebration

Christmas Hits Carthage in a Big Way: the festivities kick-off on Friday, Nov. 30 at 5:30 with the annual Christmas Tree Lighting.

This will feature a children's choir made up of children from area churches. After the Tree lighting the annual Carthage/Leake County Christmas Parade will take place.

On Monday and Tuesday, Dec. 3 and 4, Carthage Christian Academy in conjunction with the Leake County Foundation will present the play "How the Grouch Found Christmas."

Show times are 7 p.m. both nights at the Old Elementary School. On Wednesday, Dec. 5, the Leake County Ministerial Alliance will host "The Christmas Story in Scripture" at 6 p.m. in Sasser Park.

On Thursday, Dec. 6, Carthage Main Street will host their annual Sippin Cider with more than 20 businesses participating in the annual event to see whose Christmas Cider is the Best.

Friday, Dec. 7, brings "Christmas with Disney" sponsored by the Leake County Health Network. It will begin at 6 p.m. at the Carthage National Guard Armory.

All proceeds raised at this event will go to the MS Diabetes Foundation. Tickets will be available in advance and at the door for $10 a child with no charge for adults accompanying children.

To cap off the week's activities the Combined Church Choirs from First Baptist Church, Carthage United Methodist Church, and Trinity Baptist Church will present "Carols of Christmas" in the First Baptist Church sanctuary at 6 p.m. on Saturday and Sunday, Dec. 8 and 9. Fall Revival

The church family of New Black Jack Baptist Church would like to invite everyone to a 3 day revival on Nov. 26, 27 and 28, starting at 6:30 p.m. each night.

The Messengers will be Bro. Mike Sullivan on the 26th, Bro. Curtis Pace on the 27th and Bro. James Warren on the 28th.

Bro. Curtis Pace will be providing over the music. There will be a church wide fellowship meal following service on the 28th.

Come and get filled with God's love through the Holy Spirit and the dedication, of these men through their love for God.

SERVSAFE CLASS

A ServSafe food safety certification class will be held in Philadelphia in the Neshoba County Coliseum multi-purpose room on Jan 28 and 29. The deadline to register is Dec. 21.
