The drummer of the band Poison was arrested in California Friday on an affidavit charging him with a rape which allegedly occurred at the Silver Star Casino on Mississippi 16 west last year, the authorities said.
Rikki Rockett, 46, of California was arrested at Los Angeles International Airport, said Sheriff's Investigator Ralph Sciple.
The alleged victim charges in an affidavit that Rockett raped her on Sept. 23, 2007, he said.
The woman, from Neshoba County, told authorities that she met Rockett at the casino and the rape occurred in his hotel room, he said.
We notified the FBI's National Crime Information Center that Rockett was wanted by authorities here, he said, noting that he also uses the names Richard Ream and John Minskoff.
"He registered at the casino as Minskoff," Sciple said.
The authorities said Rockett has no criminal background and was not at the casino to perform.
The matter has been turned over to the District Attorney's office for possible grand jury action, Sciple said.
Poison, an American rock band, achieved great success and popularity in the late 1980s and the 1990s.

Sounds like another heartbroken skank that he failed to call back. Did he drag her all the way to his room without anyone else noticing? Oh, and she reported it days later, when there would be little or no evidence? Give me a break. Once he is cleared, I hope he sues her for defamation.
