Two people were injured in a two-vehicle accident Friday on Mississippi 16 west. William and Lisa Chamblee of Carthage were taken by ambulance to the county hospital shortly after 3:30 p.m. William Chamblee was driving a 2010 Chevrolet Lumina when he was hit from behind by a 2011 Dodge Nitro driven by Stefanie Ammerman of Philadelphia, police said.
