After breaking up a drunken brawl in a ditch at a residence off of Highway 15 south on Saturday, Neshoba County Sheriff’s deputies were able to recover a stole pickup.

A Macon man was arrested after he was found to be in possession of a stolen white Ford F-150 pickup truck.

Kenneth Reed, 26, of 1342 Cookeville Road, was charged with public drunk and disturbing the peace in Neshoba County. Neshoba County Sheriff Eric Clark said that Reed is being held by the Noxubee County Sheriff’s Office.

Clark said that they received a BOLO (be on the lookout) for a White Ford F-150 4x4 pickup with Noxubee County tags on Jan. 11. Deputies later responded to a disturbance on Highway 15. Deputies arrived to find two male subjects fighting in a ditch, one of whom was Reed.

Further investigation revealed the truck was the one stolen from Noxubee County.

Reed was arrested for disturbance of a family and public intoxication. The Ford truck was released to the owner.
