Two Choctaw Central High School seniors made it official on Tuesday. Jennara Bollin and Dalton Clegg both signed letters of intent to play football for Haskell Indian Nations University. A signing ceremony, held at the CCHS library on Tuesday morning, was attended by the players' teammates, coaches, supporters and families.
Choctaw Central High School Principal Fred Hickmon said, "These two young men are the epitome of what we are at Choctaw Central High School: Excellence in Education! I congratulate them both."
Bollin, a 3-time All District wide receiver, played football during all four years of his high school career. Clegg, who played during his last three years, starred at the free safety and fullback positions.
"I would like to challenge both of these young men to take advantage of this opportunity," said head coach Troy Savell. "See it through and get your four year degree. You both can set a precedent that future Warrior football players can follow. Go to Haskell and make your family and all Choctaws proud. But most importantly, go to Haskell and come back with a college education."
