The Philadelphia Tornado baseball team enjoyed a big win as they knocked off Quitman 13-3 in one of two games they played last week.
In the other game, Southeast Lauderdale won 6-2.
“This is a very young team,” Coach Cody Freeman said. “I know we said that last year. But last year, we were playing with eighth graders and ninth graders. This year, they are ninth graders and 10th graders.
“They have been working hard and showing improvement. If we can stay together, I think you will see us become more competitive,” Freeman said.
