"We are convinced that the completion of this facility and field has the potential to positively affect the future of Warrior athletics for many years," said Dr. Billy W. Stewart, ECCC President. "First and foremost, its construction will impact each of the five commitments our institution has made as a component of 2020 Vision. Second, it has the potential to seamlessly connect our athletic facilities to the college and our community the EC Way - Excellence with Class. Third, the construction of this facility will set us apart from our peers and enhance our reputation as a training ground for excellence. And fourth, this facility will provide a place to further develop our student-athletes in all four phases of their life - intellectually, physically, spiritually and socially."
