Rockets place first at Dancing Rabbit

The Neshoba Central golf team placed first in the Choctaw Central Invitational which was held last Wednesday at the Dancing Rabbit Golf Course.
Neshoba Central finished with a team score of 347. Kosciusko was second at 352 while Forest came in third with 356.
Clint Hunley led the Rocket golfers with a 77 followed by Graham Winstead with a 86, Zach Rigdon 91, Ryan Gardner 93, Blaine Gardener 191, and Draven Barlow 107.
Union's Andy Ogletree was the tournament medalist with a two-under-par 70.
Philadelphia had three golfers in the tournament. Ossa Martin shot a 98 followed by Eric Threadgill 101, and Hunter Ketteringham 102,
The Rockets also participated in a tournament held in Pearl. Kosciusko placed first with a 335 team score, followed by Forest at 344, Ridgeland 347, and Neshoba Central 351.
Winstead was the low scorer for the Rockets with a 79, Hunley finished at 88, followed by Rigdon 92, B. Gardener 92, R. Gardener 92, and Barlow 102.
Neshoba Central was to host Ridgeland at the Philadelphia Country Club on Tuesday, and visit Kosciusko on Monday.
