The Mississippi High School Activities Association has announced its new regions for the 2019-2020 and 2020-2021 school year.

Philadelphia and Union High Schools will be with the same schools but they move back from the North Half to the South Half of the state. What is now Region 4-2A will become Region 6-2A. Other teams in the region will be Scott Central, Lake and Newton High School.

Neshoba Central will remain in Region 2-5A. The only change is that Germantown is moving up to 6A and Provine is now part of the region.

Choctaw Central had the biggest change. The school moved up from Class 3A to Class 4A. The Warriors are now part of the Region 4-4A, Other teams in the region Kosciusko, Leake Central, Louisville, Northeast Lauderdale and West Lauderdale.
