Happy to announce Depot Bowling has added a Monday Night League open to men and women.

It consists of nine 3-member teams, thus-far, with established bowlers from the Thursday Night League, league members from other bowling centers, and some brand new bowlers. They have completed their second week of the twelve week season. Hope all are enjoying the fellowship and competition. There is still room and time to become part of this league, so, if interested, stop by or call 601-656-0770.

Friday, the Neshoba Central Lady Rockets Bowling Team will be competing against seven other schools at the 2013 MHSAA Class II State Championship. The competition will be held at Fannin Lanes in Jackson at 10 a.m. The eight teams will bowl four games each. All are looking to be one of the top two in total series. Those two teams will then compete in a best 3 out of 5 Baker's Style format with the winner becoming the state champions. Depot Bowling, league members, family, and friends are proud of the Lady Rockets for their accomplishments and wish them the best of luck at the end of their season. Remember to focus and do your best but also to enjoy the experience. Good luck and good bowling. Go Rockets!

This weekend members of Depot's Sunday Youth League and Family Bowl's Sunday Youth League in Meridian will be participating in the Youth City Tournament at Depot Bowling. Saturday at 10am the youth members will compete in the doubles and singles events. Sunday at 2 p.m. they will compete in the team event. Although a few of them have competed in tournaments before, it will be a first for many.

Despite their nervousness, all are looking forward to the competition and to showing off their home facility. Come show your support and encouragement to the youth. Good luck, good bowling, and have fun.
