The Neshoba Central basketball teams have a busy week with three games slated.

The Rocket teams were to play Starkville on Tuesday. They visit Northeast Lauderdale on Friday and then enter the Noxubee County Classic on Saturday. Both teams play West Point with the girls game starting at 1 p.m.

The Lady Rockets enter the week with a 7-1 record while the Rockets stand at 4-4.

Neshoba Central split a pair of games with Kosciusko last week. The Lady Rockets defeated the Lady Whippets 64-39 while the boys dropped an 80-70 decision.

"The competition is getting stronger," coach Jerry Byrd said. "We are improved as a team but we are going to have to play hard to stay with some of these teams.
