The Lady Warriors managed to get in one game last week, dropping a 19-17 decision to Lake in a scrimmage game.

Choctaw fell behind 14-8 after three innings but fought back with four runs in the fifth and sixth inning while Lake scored three in the fifth and one in the sixth. Choctaw added one in the seventh for the final margin.

Lake outhit Choctaw 25-13 in the contest.

Tia’Rain Saunders was 2-for-3 with four runs scored and three RBIs. Malaka Morris was 3-for-4 and drove in six runs while Ahnaya Williams was 2-for-4 with three runs scored and two RBIs. Maya Joe had a home run, four walks, three walks and three RBIs while Jada Bell was 2-for-3. Tyra Billy scored three runs while Tori Isaac scored twice.

Choctaw’s scheduled games at the Lake Tournament on Saturday were rained out.

The Lady Warriors will play at Philadelphia on Tuesday in their only scheduled game this week.
