The Neshoba Central Lady Rockets improved to 21-0 after picking up a pair of wins in fast-pitch softball last week.

The Lady Rockets opened the week with a 10-0 win over Southeast Lauderdale. They then defeated Choctaw Central 6-0. Neshoba Central was to play Holmes Central on Monday but that game was moved to next Monday because of the weather. The Lady Rockets were to host Cleveland Central on Thursday and Union on Friday.

Aspen Wesley struck out 14 as she pitched a one-hit shutout against the Lady Tigers.

Neshoba Central scored eight in the third and two in the fourth.

Elleigh Willis had two singles. She scored a run and knocked in two. Wesley, Shanta Beaulieu and Kylee Thompson all hit a double. Thompson knocked in three runs. Tenly Grison, Tori Henderson and Alexus Lathan all hit a single.

A five-run second inning lifted Neshoba Central over Choctaw Central.

Wesley struck out 15 batters while giving up four hits.

Willis hit a double and knocked in two runs. Grisham and Beaulieu had two hits. Rivers Gray and Henderson both had one hit.
