Neshoba Central scored a 6-1 win over Philadelphia last week in the only game the Lady Rockets played in fast-pitch softball action.

Games with Clarkdale and Newton County were rained out. The Lady Rockets carry a 3-0 record into the week and were to be competing in the Gulf Shores Tournament.

Against Philadelphia, the Lady Rockets scored one in the first, three in the fifth and two in the sixth. The Lady Tornadoes scored their only run in the sixth inning.

Kayla McKinion was the winning pitcher and allowed only two hits.

Hailey Lunderman finished with a double and a single, and scored two runs. Katlyn Duke hit a single and brought in two runs while Madalyn McMahon, Hannah Williams and Kaila Willis all hit singles.
