The Neshoba Central Lady Rockets improved to 6-1 last week with a 53-23 win over Kosciusko in prep basketball action.

Haley Moore scored 13 points to lead the Lady Rockets while Katlyn Duke and Breona Foster both added 10 points.

This will be a busy week for the Neshoba Central teams as they play three road games. They were to play at Starkville on Tuesday; at Northeast Lauderdale on Friday; and, in the Noxubee County tournament on Saturday.

"This is going to be a real gut check week for us," Neshoba Central coach Fred Morris said. "We defended well against Kosciusko and were able to score some points."

The Neshoba Central boys score was unavailable.
