Brandon Kennedy pitched a perfect game to lead Choctaw Central to a 9-0 win over Sebastopol last week during the Meridian spring tournament at Q.V. Sykes Field.

Kennedy faced 21 batters and recorded 19 strike outs. The two other outs were ground outs.

"I've been coaching baseball a long time and I've never seen something like that," Choctaw Central Coach Joey Ezelle said. "It was very impressive."

It would be the only game the Warriors played last week as they entered this week with a 3-3 record. The Warriors visit Southeast Lauderdale on Friday and visit Lake on Saturday.

The Warriors scored one in the first, one in the fifth, two in the sixth and five in the seventh.

Choctaw Central finished with eight hits. Kennedy helped his own cause with a double. Trey Lilly had two hits.
