There is some good news in the Neshoba Central football camp this week.

Punter/kicker Matthew Turcotte has been chosen to play in the Mississippi/Alabama All-Star game Dec. 14 in Montgomery, Ala.

Also, defensive lineman Ken Edwards has been named to play on the North team in the annual Mississippi All-Star Football Game slated for Dec. 21 in Gulfport.

The Rockets will be home this week when they take on Germantown for another Region 2-5A game. Both teams will be going for their first region victory after losing last week.

The Rockets fell 14-9 to Canton while Germantown lost to Pearl, 54-24. Kickoff is set for 7 p.m. Here are the standings.
