Former Neshoba Central standout Jaquan Dotson is continuing his basketball career as a member of the Savannah State Tigers in Georgia.

Dotson, a 6-foot-4 junior guard, has started 13 games for the Tigers. He is averaging 13.3 points per game and 6.4 rebounds per game. He has connected on 37 three-point shots.

Dotson played two seasons at East Central Community College before transferring to Savannah State which is a member of the MECA Conference. The Tigers stand at 3-12. While at ECCC, he was second on the team in scoring with 14 points per game for the Warriors. He led the team with seven rebounds per game. He played in the Mississippi Junior College all-star basketball game last spring.
