The Union Yellowjackets dropped a 51-16 decision to Choctaw County Friday night in prep football action.

Trailing 12-0, the Yellowjackets got on the scoreboard late in the first quarter when they blocked a punt and recovered it in the end zone for a touchdown. The two point conversion was good and Union trailed 12-8.

Then Adrian Campbell ran 21 yards for a touchdown. Tradarius Harris scored the two-point conversion and the Yellowjackets led 16-12.

But that would be as close as Union would come.

Choctaw County scored 23 points in the second quarter and led 35-16 at the half.

Choctaw County had 336 total yards, rushing for 273 on 43 carries, and completing two passes for 63 yards.
