White, Brown united in marriage during Jan.4 ceremony in Union

Brittany Anna White and Keith Walter Brown were united in marriage on Jan. 4, 2014, at six o'clock in the evening at First Presbyterian Church in Union, Mississippi. Reverend Chris Shelton officiated at the double ring ceremony.

Parents of the bride are Mr. and Mrs. Troy Dale White, Jr. of Philadelphia. Her grandparents are Mr. and Mrs. Ray Stewart of Mize, Mrs. Lou White of Union, and the late Mr. Troy Dale White, Sr. The groom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Bobby Darrell Brown of Forest. His grandparents are Mr. and Mrs. Bob Brown, Mrs. McDollen Barnes, and the late Mr. Walter Pat Barnes, Sr., all of Forest.
The bride, escorted by her father, wore an ivory Casablanca fit and flare A-line gown with beautifully beaded lace appliques sewn on to tulle over crystal satin lining. The neckline was an off the shoulder design with scalloped trim accent. She wore a diamond and pearl comb in her hair that belonged to her paternal grandmother. She also wore her maternal grandmother's engagement ring on her right hand. Her bouquet consisted of white hydrangeas, petite roses, and baby's breath wrapped in a handkerchief belonging to the groom's maternal grandmother and held in place by a silver monogrammed broach belonging to the groom's paternal grandmother.
Andrea Renee Rash of Union served as maid of honor. Anna Rouse Abraham of Madison was matron of honor. Bridesmaids were Brittany Germany Bennett of Collinsville, Carrie LeAnn Rowzee of Union, Stephanie Jo Abby of Millington, Tenn., Reagan Lynn Joyner of Philadelphia, Kristin Michelle McGee of Seminary, and Meredith McCullough White, cousin of the bride, of Birmingham, Ala., They wore one shoulder navy chiffon Mori Lee gowns and carried hand tied bouquets of white hydrangeas. Flower girl was Sidney Owens Morgan of Forest.
The groom's father, Bobby Darrell Brown, served as best man. Groomsmen were Kevin Wallace Brown, brother of the groom, of Forest, Jason Allen Hurdle of Forest, Cameron Brady Nicholson of Columbus, James Ryan Reeves of Forest, Tyler Dennis Walters of Brandon, Charles Jonathan Worrell of Pearl, and Troy Dale White, III, brother of the bride, of Nacogdoches, Texas. Ushers were Wade Joseph Brown of Indianapolis, Indiana, Brandon Philip Chambers of Brandon, Katlan Russell French of Jackson, Gary David Mart, II of Forest, Matthew Gage Reynolds of Brandon, and Austin Mack Wilbanks of Kosciusko.
Music was provided by John Cumberland, organist and pianist, and Stephen Pace, violinist. Soloists were Laurie Pace, Stephen Pace, and Anse Rigby. Guests were greeted at the wedding by Stephania Ferrell and Judy Tannehill. Wedding directors were Casey Cooper Hunter and Traci Harrison Lewis.
Following the ceremony, the bride's parents hosted a reception at the Family Life Center of First Baptist Church of Union. Guests at the reception were greeted by Denise Johnson and Erika Gray. Catering and floral decorations were provided by Penny Culpepper of Carthage. The bride and groom danced to "When I Say I Do" by Matthew West, sung by Ryan Reeves accompanied by Anse Rigby on guitar. The bride's five tier cake featured different flavors adorned with buttercream frosting. The groom's cake was a tri-level design representing Forest High School baseball and football as well as his alma mater, Ole Miss. Both cakes were created by Hailey Williams of Cups-N-Cakes Bakery. As the bride and groom departed the reception, guests held sparklers to light their way.
Memories of the evening were captured by Kathy Stephens Photography. Focused Productions served as the videographer. Flowers for the ceremony were provided by Uptown Flowers & Gift.
On the eve of the wedding, the groom's parents honored the couple with a rehearsal dinner at B. Gatewood Studio/Gallery in Forest. Guests were greeted by the groom's grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Bob Brown. Pretty Presentations catered the event, and Pam Blissett and Bill Rigby provided floral arrangements.
Following a honeymoon to St. Lucia, the couple is at home in Forest.
The bride is an associate attorney at Branning Law Firm, P.A., and the groom is head baseball coach and teacher at Forest High School.
