Kayleigh Grace Vance “KK” is excited about graduating with the 2020 class in Union. Vance’s role as secretary of the Student Body Counsel has kept her extremely busy throughout the school year.

Since the government made the decisions to shut down all Mississippi schools in March, Kayleigh has worked hard with her mom remodeling their home.

Since she has been out of school, Kayleigh has been painting and doing stuff around her home. Vance was an active student. Her favorite subject throughout high school was math.

Kayleigh was in the band at Union and played softball. She also cheered and was a member of the colorguard team. Kayleigh is looking forward to going to college and making new friends. Vance is hoping to attend Mississippi State University in the fall and rush for a sorority.

Vance was upset at first that she would not be able be having a traditional ceremony, but was glad Union hosted a parade in honor of the Class of 2020 that gives her hope. She is the daughter of Pam and Ronald Arthur and Casey and Linda Vance.

Editor’s Note: This is the second in a series of profiles on Class of 2020 members in Neshoba County that will be featured in the Democrat in the coming weeks.
