The Neshoba County 4-H Cooking Club will be having an open enrollment for any participants or volunteers interested in joining. 

All youth ages 8-18 interested in learning about fundamental kitchen skills and the science behind cooking and baking techniques are welcome to sign up.  They will also gain skills in teamwork, organization, and creativity.  

Come see us at the Neshoba County Extension Office and fill out an enrollment form today. We are in the Neshoba County Coliseum. Office hours are from 8:00a.m. to 5:00p.m. For more information, call 601-656-4011. 


North Bend Fire Protection District will hold its annual meeting on December 14th at 2 pm at Fire Station #1 located on Highway 21 North.  Everyone is invited to attend.

4-H S.A.F.E.T.Y.

Neshoba County 4H is having an Information and Registration Meeting on Dec. 9 at 6 p.m. at the Depot. This meeting is intended for anyone who is interested in participating in the 2020 Season. The disciplines we offer include Shotgun, Archery, .22 Rifle, .22 Pistol, Air rifle, and Air pistol. We have amazing, knowledgeable, certified volunteers who keep practices and competitions extremely safe. Our goal is to teach safe firearms handling and marksmanship to Neshoba County's youth along with some healthy competition. For more info, contact the Neshoba county Extension Office 601-656-4011.


On Dec. 14, at God’s House, 256 Gum St., kickstands go up at 10 a.m. The community is invited to bring a toy for a boy or girl to be given to local children by local organizations. Unwrapped toy donations will be accepted from 9 a.m.-noon. Sponsored by Pastor Scott L. Boatner, in cooperation with local chapter Kinfolk MC and any other MC that wants to participate.
